We strive to provide an atmosphere where your child feels safe, loved and connected. We offer a balanced program of quiet and active play, individual and group time, staff supported and child-initiated experiences with sufficient rest-time to refresh. The pre-school children go out for two hours of outdoor play daily (an hour for nursery children) when weather permits. During inclement weather, children enjoy the use of the indoor gym and its associated activities.

Our children are encouraged to explore their world and to develop theories about it. Their growing independence and sense of self is fostered in our play based learning environment. This includes the development of self-expression through art, drama, music, sensory, gross motor and construction.

Children are supported in developing friendships and in their understanding of their emotions. Communication and early literacy skills play an important part of the curriculum. The children learn to follow routines and listen to instructions to facilitate their entry into junior kindergarten. Teachers will work closely with parents and families to enhance the developmental skills and well being of their child.

NURSERY   Schedule & Fees

A non-refundable deposit, equivalent to two week's fee, must be paid at the time of registration to reserve a space in the program.   This deposit will be credited towards the first two weeks of care.
Fees are payable in advance, on the first Monday of each 2-week or 4-week period.  A supply of post-dated cheques is required.  You will be informed of these dates.

Other Charges

There is an extra charge of $10.00 for each additional hour, or part hour, of care past your registered time slot.  This extra charge will be effective up to 6:00 pm.
The centre closes at 6:00 pm.  There is an after hour charge of $1.00 for each additional minute past 6:00 pm.  After hour fees are to be paid to the staff on duty when the child is picked up.

NURSERY   Terms & Conditions

Absent Days

There is no substitution for days missed.  You will be billed for the days that your child is absent.

Statutory Holidays, P.A. Days, Winter Break and March Break

The Nursery Program is offered only when the School-age Program is not running.  During P.A.
